Alfa Laval Unique Flexbody: Hygienic Instrument Housing for Precision Monitoring
Alfa Laval Unique Flexbody is an advanced in-line instrument housing designed to optimize monitoring and control in hygienic fluid processing systems. Built from stainless steel, it ensures durability, corrosion resistance, and compliance with global hygiene standards, from a broad range of EN 10357-A, ISO 2037, to ASME BPE dimensional standards. Featuring a smooth internal finish with Ra <0.8 µm, it supports cleanliness requirements in brewery, beverage, dairy and food industries applications. Its modular design allows seamless integration of up to two instruments or sight glasses for real-time process monitoring, with the instrumentation being replaceable and can be easily removed for calibration without welding.

How Unique Flexbody Works |

| The Unique Flexbody is a hygienic stainless steel in-line housing designed for seamless integration into piping systems. It features two openings that can accommodate instrumentation or sight glasses for process monitoring. If not in use, hygienic blind caps seal the openings to maintain cleanliness. Made from AISI 316L stainless steel, its modular design allows easy adaptation to different pipe diameters, while the smooth internal surface ensures optimal flow and hygienic operation. |
