Saint-Gobain EMIX is a global leader in building materials and construction solutions, operating high-performance manufacturing facilities to support growing demand across the region. As part of their continuous improvement efforts, the warehouse and production walkways required an upgraded flooring system that could support heavy equipment movement, enhance visibility, and improve overall workplace safety. The existing floor showed signs of wear, surface dullness, and inconsistent markings, which affected traffic flow and safety compliance. With forklifts, pallets, and large-volume material movements occurring daily, the client needed a durable, smooth, and clearly organised flooring system that could withstand heavy usage while maintaining a clean, professional appearance.

POLYGARD® RAC 8500 | 500 Microns Thick High Build Epoxy Floor Coating
A high-build epoxy flooring system was selected to provide a durable, seamless, and visually organised surface suitable for Saint-Gobain EMIX’s warehouse operations. After surface preparation, the epoxy coating was applied directly onto the existing substrate to achieve a smooth, glossy finish that enhances brightness and visibility throughout the facility. Clear safety markings were added, including pedestrian walkways, and forklift lanes, ensuring safe and efficient traffic movement within the warehouse. This solution delivered strong resistance to abrasion, daily forklift traffic, and heavy material handling—while maintaining a clean and professional appearance.
