Proton just announced a new "5-Star" rating system for its service centers nationwide to improve customer service after vehicle purchases. This system recognizes dealers who offer exceptional after-sales support. It's part of Proton's efforts to enhance service quality, building on their Proton Operational Excellence (POE) program launched in March 2023.
The new 5-Star rating system evaluates dealers based on their POE score and service quality. Proton focuses on two main areas of service quality: "Speed" and "Compliance," measured across six key aspects. Ratings are given monthly, and Proton's after-sales team works closely with dealers to improve their service levels and scores.

Every month, Proton will award five dealerships for outstanding after-sales and customer service. They'll base their criteria on feedback from all outlets and compare against industry best practices. Proton will also host quarterly roadshows to celebrate top performers and share best practices to maintain high standards.
The 5-Star rating program was introduced at Melinau Auto in Kuching, recognized as one of Proton's top 3 outlets. After the launch, Proton will list the ranked outlets on its official website, www.proton.com, along with a special badge for dealership recognition.

Roslan Abdullah, the CEO of Proton Edar, expressed, "We are committed to providing exceptional after-sales service to distinguish ourselves from competitors. Hence, we remain dedicated to enhancing our customer service and after-sales operations across all outlets, ensuring utmost satisfaction in all customer-facing roles."
"Yes, we know that offering great high-spec models at good prices brings customers to our showrooms. But it's our top-notch customer service and excellent after-sales support that keep them coming back and buying from us again."
