Perodua officially announced today the arrival of the most affordable car model in the market, the Perodua Axia E with a manual transmission, starting at a price of RM22,000 (on the road without insurance). In terms of power, Perodua Axia E is 3 cylinder, 1.0-liter engine with the code name 1KR-VE. It generates a power output of 67 hp at 6,000 rpm and a torque of 91 Nm at 4,400 rpm. It is paired with a five-speed manual transmission.
For the exterior design, it remains the previous version of Axia design. And same goes to interior. Other features include 2 airbags, seat belt reminder system for the driver, 14-inch steel rims. There are three color options: Ivory White, Glittering Silver, and the new Granite Grey color. As we can see, 2023 Perodua Axia E cost RM22k, its cheaper RM2k compared to the previous Perodua Axia E.
