KUALA LUMPUR, April 13 — Malaysia’s top men’s doubles duo, Aaron Chia and Soh Wooi Yik, captured their first-ever Badminton Asia Championships (BAC) title in style, defeating China’s Chen Bo Yang and Liu Yi 21-19, 21-17 in a thrilling final.
Despite a shaky start in the second game, the world No. 6 pair bounced back from a 12-8 deficit to clinch the victory. This win is especially sweet after their 2022 runner-up finish.
