congratulated Bonnie Bunyau Gustin for winning Malaysia's second gold medal at the Paris 2024 Paralympics and setting a new world record by lifting 232kg. Bonnie defended his title in the 72kg category, making him a double Paralympic gold medallist.

Youth and Sports Minister Hannah Yeoh and squash legend Datuk Nicol David also praised Bonnie for his hard work and extraordinary achievement. David called him a "true legend" and admired his dedication.
