1. What happens if an animal eats the bait?

You should always keep pest control products as well as cleaning chemicals or any other like product away from and out of reach of children and pets. A pet would have to consume a large quantity of bait to get sick. If your pet happens to eat a large quantity, then you should call your veterinarian immediately.

2. Can a pet become ill from eating lizard that have ingested bait?

The small amount of active ingredient in the bait is only enough to harm a lizard. There should be no harm to your pets from eating lizard accidentally. In fact, pets is not allowed to enter any bait treated area.
