Description
The Internet of Things (IoT) sensors and power management applied courseware is a ready-to-teach package focused on IoT device design, with the goal of teaching students how to characterize power consumption of IoT device onboard controller, sensors, and wireless modules. Students will understand the principles of power management and be able to characterize micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS) devices. The courseware will be updated yearly for three years at no additional cost, allowing educators and students to keep pace with evolving IoT trends and technologies.
The courseware comes with a training kit and teaching slides. The IoT sensors and power management training kit consists of an IoT development kit, sensor devices, MEMS pressure sensor, XBee ZigBee kit, seven editable lab sheets with model answers and problem-based learning assignments. Each lab session requires 2-3 hours to complete.
